I thought Bronson was a beautifully shot film; there were frames in there where I paused and thought, “Man, there better be a .gif of this somewhere on the Internet!” because that’s how my brain works now. Sadly, there aren’t that many*! Other than that, the movie’s soundtrack is also BANANAS, in a great way.
*By this I mean, there aren’t many gifs of the scenes I was interested in. Like that cap of the blue draped person? They pull back from that and I was captivated by that shot for some reason, but I guess that would make for a pretty pointless gif.

I just finished watching Attack the Block and it was AWESOME. It was like Super 8-esque, but without all the precocious Americana. Instead it was all gritty South London estate slang and underdog swagger. The aliens were suitably gnarly, the cast is great and now I have a bordering-on-inappropriate crush on John Boyega (he’s 19, I’m told! Let’s hope that’s true) WATCH IT, FAM.

Someone ‘liked’ this old post of mine, and I went back to check it out and it made me laugh. The Squid and the Whale made me so angry! (It probably still would, I will never watch it again if I can help it)
