Finally developed my last roll of film, which had three shots from Sydney. The one of Lunar Park is my favourite, but unfortunately the scanner made it look a little muddier than the original, so I tweaked it in Photoshop. It’s much better in person, but it’s still pretty good to me.

This is my favourite shot from the second roll of film from my trip in Sydney.

Here’s a shot I really liked from my Sydney snaps. I only just noticed the X’s and O’s etched in the dirt on the windows.

I took these photos in a Chinatown alley in Sydney, and if you pay attention you can see the darkened silhouettes of Cass and Nat at the bottom of the photos. I took them with my trusty film SLR, which unfortunately does not come with a strong enough flash to make these photos less inky and shadowy. Even Photoshop was no help (although you can see my poor attempts on the second shot). I’m sorry, ladies! This in no way reflects my gratitude at how awesome you made my trip.

I got my black and white film developed (the roll I took with me to Queenscliff Music Festival) and I got the prints today. I only botched about one two photos! SUCCESS. And I managed some shots I liked too, so overall I’m pretty pleased. The fifth one (the very middle photo) is my favourite.
